On BBC2 at 3PM on Christmas Day the Birmingham Royal Ballet's performance of Cinderella is on.

I started with fairly standard expressive/speed line drawings, trying to portray the immediacy of a physical movement or gesture.

I then moved on to making more detailed observations, particularly focusing on the dancers' body. I tend to grossly exagerate and contort body proportions when drawing people.
